This high-performance 4U storage enclosure was specifically designed for professional server, storage, and data center applications.
Thanks to its high drive capacity, optimal cooling, and flexible expansion options, the enclosure is ideal for NAS, backup, virtualization, and storage servers.
The eight front-panel hot-swap bays allow for quick, tool-free replacement of 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch hard drives while the system is running. The system is complemented by an additional 2.5-inch hot-swap bay on the rear panel — ideal for system drives or cache SSDs.
Additional internal drive bays provide greater flexibility when configuring SSDs or HDDs.
Ensure reliable cooling by:
- 2x 80-mm fans behind the front doors
- Fans can be removed from the front, making them particularly easy to maintain
- 3x dust filters behind the front panel to reduce dust buildup
- 3x 120-mm fans in the center panel for optimized airflow
The sophisticated cooling design ensures a stable system temperature even with a high number of drives installed.
The integrated backplane supports standard ATX power supplies. Alternatively, for maximum reliability in professional environments, an optional backplane for redundant 2U power supplies is available.
